Are Students with Disabilities Seeing the Changes?
In May, the National Council on Disabilities (NCD) published a report titled Improving Educational Outcomes for Students with Disabilities. This report discusses how attitudes and expectations for students with disabilities are changing as a result of the No Child Left Behind Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The report also explores to what extent evidence-based practices are being used to make policy decisions affecting students with disabilities.
